"I
have always thought of Christmas as a time to spend together without the
routine and hustle and bustle of everyday life, a time for family to enjoy
simple things together.
One of the simple activities of many
Newfoundland families is the hunt for the perfect Christmas tree. In the
drawing I tried to depict a small, young family leaving their house to go
look for that special tree, but I think the young boy already had his sights
set on one in particular, as he leads his Mom and Dad straight to it
shouting, "That One!"
