The Clarenville Area Chamber of Commerce 3rd Annual Business Excellence Awards Banquet

The Clarenville Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its 3rd annual Business Excellence Awards Banquet on February 24, 2010 (tentative). The Chamber will award the 2009 Small Business of the Year Award, 2009 Business of the Year Award and 2009 Business Hall of Fame Induction.

The Small Business of the Year and Business of the Year Awards are designed to recognize businesses from the local business sector that demonstrate a continued passion for excellence and who promote the advancement of responsible business leadership within our community. The Business Hall of Fame recognizes individuals from the Clarenville business community that have made or are still making contributions, and have gone that “extra mile” to promote a positive economic environment and to enhance the climate for doing business in the Clarenville area.

The 2nd Annual Business Excellence Awards were hosted on February 25, 2009. The Chamber presented Therapy Works with the 2008 Small Business of the Year Award, while the 2008 Business of the Year Award was presented to St. Judes Hotel. In addition to the Business Excellence Awards; the late Mr. Bramwell Coish was honored as the Chamber’s 2008 Business Hall of Fame inductee.

The Clarenville Area Chamber of Commerce would like to invite your nominations for the 2009 Small Business of the Year Award, the 2009 Business of the Year Award and the 2009 Business Hall of Fame.

In an effort to recognize the valuable contributions local businesses make to the economy of the Clarenville area, the Clarenville Area Chamber of Commerce is encouraging residents, customers, employees, volunteers and the general public to nominate a Clarenville Area Chamber of Commerce member they feel exemplify the best the business community has to offer.

This is a unique opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of some of the Clarenville area’s most exciting companies and business leaders. Nominations close 5pm on January 22nd 2010.

Finalists in each category will be announced in February 2010. The recipient of each award will be announced Wednesday February 24th, 2010 (Tentative) during the Chamber’s Annual General Meeting.
